Another fantastic entry in Classics over Sands is this 1947 350cc Manx Norton is in unrestored condition, it was raced in the 1947 Junior Manx Grand Prix by rider Anno Domini and finished in 17th place at an average speed of 70.07 mph covering 6 laps which was 226.38 miles.
In 1949 Anno Domini and John Aldington drove all the way from Yorkshire to enter in the Le Mans 24 hour race, Anno Domini and John Aldington drove a Frazer Nash racing car and came 3rd overall and 2nd in class.
We understand Anno Domino was a pseudonym as his parents didn’t know he was racing!
